Twin arrested after brother's body found in Perth backyard
A 29-year-old man's body was discovered in the backyard of a home he shared with his twin brother, who is in custody.
Police found the man's body in the rear yard of a house on Nye Way in Orelia, Perth's south, on Thursday afternoon. The twin brother was arrested at the scene after another family member called police about 2.20pm.
The man had visible injuries, and detectives seized items including edged weapons to determine their involvement. Police are treating the death as a suspected family violence homicide.
The twin is currently in hospital receiving medical treatment. Detectives say there is no ongoing risk to the wider community, and the homicide squad will run an extensive investigation.
