Man stabbed in arm during Berkeley assault, hospitalised
A 39-year-old man was stabbed in the arm in Berkeley on Thursday afternoon and taken to hospital.
Emergency services were called to Nolan Street in Berkeley at 1.45pm on Thursday, September 17, after reports of a stabbing. Police were told a woman on Nottingham Street had allegedly stabbed a 39-year-old man, who may have been wounded with a kitchen knife, before he walked to Nolan Street.
The man received minor injuries to his arm and was treated by paramedics at the scene. The 39-year-old man was then taken to Wollongong Hospital for further treatment.
The man and woman are believed to know each other. Police have begun an investigation and established crime scenes at both locations.
