Jackson Callow wins SANFL flag and Australian kart title in two weeks
24-year-old Jackson Callow won the SANFL premiership and Australian dirt kart championship within two weeks.
Jackson Callow kicked two goals as Norwood won the SANFL premiership on September 20. Two weeks later, the 24-year-old won the Australian dirt karting championship in the KT Heavy category at Loxton, South Australia.
Callow took the lead on the penultimate lap of the eight-lap final to claim the title. Callow only took up dirt karting last year after being introduced to it by a Norwood teammate.
He played three AFL games for Hawthorn in 2022 before returning to South Australian football. He uses karting to stay fit during the football off-season.
