All parties involved have been banned from Oz Comic-Con events after an alleged biting incident at Brisbane's convention centre on Sunday afternoon. The dispute started when a vendor asked artist Bowie Chong if his artwork was AI-generated.
Chong allegedly told her to leave and snatched her friend's phone. Chong allegedly bit the friend's arm hard enough to leave dark bruising.
The vendor said she tried to separate them and was pushed to the ground and kicked. The victim went to hospital for antibiotics for the bite wound.
Police were called but no formal complaint was filed.
