Terrie Jones steps down as Canberra Girls Grammar principal

Terrie Jones will leave her role as principal of Canberra Girls Grammar at the end of 2026 to become principal of Melbourne Girls Grammar. Terrie Jones has held the Canberra position for four years and cites a desire to be closer to her daughters and their families.
The school's board chair said the institution remains in a "position of strength" with an experienced leadership team. Jones is the 16th principal in the school's 100-year history.
The school has begun an international recruitment process to find her successor.
