Two charged after ACT drug raid seizes cocaine and steroids
Police arrested two men and seized about 600 grams of cocaine, steroids, scales and cash.
ACT Policing carried out search warrants at two homes. An investigation into drug trafficking led to this action.
On Thursday, a 44-year-old from O'Connor was charged with drug trafficking and other offences. On Friday, officers searched a property in Reid.
They found about 600 grams of white powder suspected to be cocaine. They also found many vials of steroids, scales, small bags and three mobile phones.
A 38-year-old who lived at the Reid property was arrested. He was charged with trafficking in a controlled drug other than cannabis.
He was also charged with trafficking in a trafficable quantity of cannabis and money laundering. Officers checked the phones.
They found evidence that supported drug trafficking activity, police said. He is expected to appear in ACT Magistrates Court on Saturday, 26 September 2026.
