The White Sox finished third in the regular season but made a remarkable run through the finals, beating Toronto 8-6 to qualify and then thrashing minor premiers Belmont 8-1 in last week's semi-final. It marks an outstanding first season under new coach Shane 'Bucket' Barclay.
The Boomerangs are defending premiers, having ended their own 32-year drought last year.
