Geely's Battleship 700 plug-in hybrid off-roader sold 43,900 units in China within its first hour on sale.
Geely announced both pricing and sales numbers for its Battleship 700 4WD, a plug-in hybrid off-roader. The vehicle sold 43,900 units within an hour of opening orders in China.
Pricing runs from the equivalent of $41,754 for entry-level models to nearly $81,460 for the flagship Land Yacht edition. The Battleship 700 comes with six variants across three powertrains, including a 1.5 litre turbocharged engine, a tri-motor all-wheel drive option, and a top-spec 2.0 litre setup producing 830kW.
All versions carry a 47.14kWh battery pack allowing driving range of up to 305km for two-wheel drive or up to 280km for all-wheel drive models. The vehicle has not been confirmed for Australia, but pricing could land around $70,000 to $98,000 if Geely brings it here.
