Tambourah drills deep for gold extensions at WA prospect
Company planning five diamond holes to test gold extensions 250m below earlier high-grade intercepts.
Tambourah Metals has begun diamond drilling at Beatty Park South, 160km north of Meekatharra in WA's Peak Hill district. The five-hole program will total about 1500m, with each hole reaching 300m depth.
Earlier aircore results hit 6m at 25.8g/t gold and 10m at 38.9g/t, plus one metre at 169g/t. Diamond core will reveal the geological structure that trapped the gold and guide where to drill next.
The company expects the data to help design a more aggressive follow-up program across its larger Bryah gold project.
