Aurum Resources raised $52.5 million to speed up its main Boundiali gold project in Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa. Strategic investors provided $32.3 million.

Global institutions provided $20 million. Together, these investments bring total funding to more than $95 million.

The money will pay for long-lead items, site access roads, land buying, and a 120,000-metre diamond drilling program. Aurum owns 16 diamond rigs.

The company holds 4.38 million ounces of gold in combined resources across Boundiali and nearby Napié. An updated resource study and feasibility study are expected in the December quarter.
