An 11-year-old boy was shot in the face and neck inside a Norwest home and is in serious condition.
An 11-year-old boy was shot in the face and neck inside a home on Fairway Drive in Norwest just after 5pm today. Emergency responders found the child in serious condition.
Multiple paramedic crews and two specialist medical teams attended the scene. Five other people were at the home but were not injured.
Police cordoned off the property as investigators began examining the shooting. The boy is expected to be transferred to Westmead Children's Hospital.
