Finneas and support acts quit Sheeran tour over Macklemore's ouster
Four support acts withdrew from Ed Sheeran's US tour. Macklemore was removed after making pro-Palestine remarks.
Finneas, Aaron Rowe, Beoga and Lukas Graham left Ed Sheeran's Loop tour. The four acts withdrew to protest Macklemore's removal from the lineup.
Macklemore performed at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Before his song "Hind's Hall," he said "Free Palestine."
He was dropped from the tour. Macklemore says New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft called Sheeran.
Kraft threatened to cancel the entire tour if Macklemore stayed. Finneas posted on Instagram that artists must not be silenced.
He said this when they speak for the oppressed. Aaron Rowe said he could not stay silent.
He would not accept billionaires silencing voices against Israeli actions in Gaza.
