Tommy Novak takes South Coast roots to Voice Australia grand final

Tommy Novak grew up in Malua Bay, south of Batemans Bay. The South Coast community is turning out to support their homegrown talent.
Tommy reached the grand final after singing Robbie Williams' Angels in the semi-finals. This choice felt meaningful because of a childhood memory.
He once drove four hours to Sydney to see Williams in concert. Tommy started learning guitar from another school mum.
A few years later, he picked up the piano. He learned to play songs he heard right away on his fingers.
Tommy's sister Edie is non-verbal. She lights up whenever he sings, clapping her hands with joy.
Before the grand final, Novak returned home. He performed with his Year 12 music teacher.
He also visited the disability support service Edie attends.
