Truck driver dies after crashing into tree near Gingin
A 52-year-old truck driver died when his Volvo struck a tree near Gingin on Friday afternoon.
The crash happened at about 2:05pm on Mogumber Road West near Brand Highway in Western Australia. The driver of the white Volvo prime mover and trailer was critically injured and died at the scene.
Red Gully is a small town in the Shire of Gingin, about 96 kilometres north of Perth. Major Crash Investigators are examining the scene and ask anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Police are also seeking any dash-cam or mobile phone footage of the crash.
