Airbnb party of 100 spirals into train station brawl; man stabbed
A 26-year-old man was stabbed in the arm during a brawl at Pakenham station after police broke up a 100-person party.
Police dispersed about 100 people from an illegal party at an Airbnb on Belvedere Drive in Pakenham around 9:30pm on Friday. Just before 10pm, the same group broke into a brawl at Pakenham Railway Station.
A 26-year-old man who tried to stop the fight was stabbed in the arm. The man went to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The group fled when police arrived; no arrests have been made. The Airbnb owner said he believed he had rented to two adults who agreed there would be no partying.
