Woman stabbed to death at Wagga Wagga home; teen arrested

A 23-year-old woman was killed in a stabbing at a home in Wagga Wagga on Saturday morning.

The woman was found with stab wounds at a residence on Ziegler Ave in Kooringal around 11:45am on Saturday. Paramedics and police tried to revive her but she died at the home.

An 18-year-old was arrested at the scene and taken to Wagga Wagga Police Station. Police say another man fled the home before emergency services arrived.

Police believe all parties involved are known to each other. Specialist officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
