Way Dynamic's sold-out US tour follows indie label deal

Dylan Young performs as Way Dynamic, a Melbourne multi-instrumentalist who recently signed with indie label Jagjaguwar to release his 2025 album Massive Shoe worldwide. Way Dynamic's US and European headline shows are selling out.
Young opened for Black Country New Road, Waxahatchee and MJ Lenderman in Australia last year. Way Dynamic's warm, layered folk sound has impressed Elton John, Djo, Zane Lowe and Elijah Wood.
Young began learning guitar at age eight in Ballarat and started bands as a teenager. He played in Melbourne's music scene since moving there at eighteen, before launching Way Dynamic in 2022.
His melodies recall the Beach Boys and the Beatles, with thoughtful lyrics and subtle production.
