Alan Jones trial witness says he texted broadcaster after alleged assaults to
A witness said he texted Alan Jones after alleged assaults because Jones was powerful and generous.
The witness, called complainant M, said he sent Jones friendly messages including Christmas wishes after the alleged incidents. Complainant M said he did this because Jones had a media profile and a reputation.
Jones had also been generous to him. Jones has pleaded not guilty to 20 charges of indecent assault and two counts of sexual touching.
The witness said he didn't want the two kisses. One was at an event in 2015.
The other was at Jones's apartment in 2020. The trial is in its seventh week with six complainants expected to give evidence.
