Putney Pusher suspect arrested after nine years, then found dead
Nicholas Brandram, 44, was arrested in June for a 2017 Putney Bridge assault and found dead this week.
In May 2017, a man jogging on Putney Bridge in London pushed a 33-year-old woman to the ground. The woman's head and upper body fell into the path of an oncoming bus, which swerved to avoid her.
The incident was captured on CCTV, but the suspect was never found. Nine years later, Nicholas Brandram, 44, was arrested in June on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
Brandram was a millionaire banker and descendant of Queen Victoria. He was found unresponsive at his home in Chiswick, west London this week.
Police said his death is being treated as unexpected but is not believed to be suspicious.
