Fowler hits 100 for City as it hammers Arsenal 4-2

Mary Fowler marked her 100th appearance for Manchester City by helping spark a 4-2 comeback win over Arsenal, keeping City unbeaten.

Fowler came on as a substitute in the second half when City trailed Arsenal 2-1, then sparked an immediate turnaround. Within a minute, Kerstin Casparij equalised.

Lauren Hemp put City ahead for the first time nine minutes later, and Bunny Shaw sealed it with a fourth goal. City has now won all five of its matches and leads the Women's Super League table by two points from Chelsea.

For Arsenal, featuring Fowler's fellow Matildas including Steph Catley and Kyra Cooney-Cross, the loss was a second straight defeat. The Gunners have slipped to 10th place, 10 points behind the leaders, and have managed just one win since the season began.
