Three Australians found dead in Bali bungalow
A 57-year-old Australian man and his two children were discovered dead in a Kuta bungalow on Sunday morning.
The man's wife was in Jakarta. Unable to reach them, she asked a neighbour to check on the family.
The neighbour and bungalow owner tried to look through windows. After getting no answer, residents knocked and pounded on the door before breaking it down.
Police believe the two children died from violence. The man, who was also an Indonesian citizen, is believed to have died by hanging.
The bodies are at a local hospital for examination. Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage and processing the crime scene.
Investigators are questioning witnesses, including the victim's wife. Australian authorities are working with Indonesian counterparts.
They are providing consular help to the family.
