Court rejects bail for alleged methamphetamine possession charge

Harris admitted to knowing the drugs were there but claimed they were for personal use. A senior constable countered that 85 grams would last "the best part of a year" even at daily use.
The court heard Harris works in civil construction. The magistrate refused bail, noting the quantity would likely attract a jail sentence, and ordered a committal mention for December 4.
