Women founders get $60,000 grants from Antler's new $70 million fund
Women-founded companies get $60,000 grants from Antler at startup and another $60,000 at the next funding milestone.
Antler Australia is launching its third venture fund targeting $70 million in capital. Coaxial commits $20 million to the main fund.
Up to $10 million will support women founders through grants and co-investments. Women-founded companies receive $60,000 grants when Antler makes its initial investment.
They get another $60,000 when outside investors fund the next round. These grants don't reduce founder ownership or take equity.
Coaxial will commit to funding 15% of next rounds. Antler already commits 33%.
Together they cover nearly half the next round. Antler's data shows all-women founding teams return 2.6 times the initial investment.
That beats the portfolio average of 2.1 times. The fund targets the critical early stage where women founders struggle most to get capital.
