Daryn Cresswell joins North Albury as co-coach for Ovens and Murray season
Cresswell and McQueen will co-coach North Albury's O&M team in 2027, with McQueen taking sole charge in 2028.
North Albury has hired Daryn Cresswell as co-coach alongside Jake McQueen for the 2027 Ovens and Murray season. McQueen will then lead alone from 2028.
Cresswell previously coached McQueen at Wangaratta Rovers. The pair said they committed to the role after watching the Hoppers' strong list and potential.
McQueen just coached his home club Nhill to their first Wimmera premiership in 45 years and won best-on-ground. Both coaches plan to focus on fitness, strength and system work in pre-season to build foundations for 2027.
