Man stabbed at Blacktown Train Station in altercation with knife-wielder
A man in his 30s was stabbed on the arm during an altercation at Blacktown Train Station on Saturday night.
Emergency services responded to reports of an assault at Blacktown Train Station about 10.20pm on Saturday. Police arrived to find a man, believed to be aged in his 30s, with a stab wound to his arm.
The man was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital in stable condition. The man had been involved in an altercation with another man armed with a knife.
The altercation spread from the platform onto the tracks. The other man left the station before police arrived.
Officers searched the scene and interviewed witnesses, and anyone with information has been asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
