Woman aged in 90s dies in Bondi stabbing; man arrested

A woman in her 90s was found with serious injuries in a Bondi apartment and died despite paramedic treatment.

Emergency services went to a unit on Chambers Avenue in Bondi Beach on Saturday after reports of a stabbing. Officers found a woman in her 90s with serious injuries.

The woman was treated by paramedics but died at the scene. A 47-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody.

Police set up the crime scene and investigation is underway.
