Canberra's golf centre is being rebuilt as Swing City, aiming to open by late 2026.
The Narrabundah golf facility is getting a full makeover. Swing City plans to open by late 2026.
The venue will have a renovated clubhouse, bars, bistro, function rooms, an 18-hole pitch-and-putt, 18-hole mini golf, and an interactive driving range with ball-tracking and gaming technology. The venue will also have pool tables, yard games, table tennis, an upstairs function room, alfresco dining and a kids' party area.
The driving range already has radar technology. It measures spin rate, launch angle and ball flight to one per cent accuracy.
This is a big step up from the old facility. The first-stage upgrade opened last September.
Ownership group Mulpha-Swing City is now investing significantly into the clubhouse and adjacent premises to finish the complex. It will be the largest Swing City venue in Australia.
