Witness in Alan Jones trial recounts unwanted kiss he 'wished never happened'
A man testified in Sydney court that an unwanted kiss from Jones in 2015 remains vividly in his memory.
The alleged victim, known as complainant M, told Downing Centre local court that the kiss at an awards night is seared into his memory and he wished it had never occurred. Some months before, he had sent Jones a shirtless photo while overseas, responding to Jones's question about how he was doing.
Jones replied with affectionate messages saying "I love the photo. I love you.
I want to kiss you for hours." During cross-examination, the defence suggested the kiss never happened and questioned why M had sent affectionate text messages afterward despite testifying he felt shocked and embarrassed.
M said he felt as though he was deflecting in those messages. Jones faces 22 charges of indecent assault and sexual touching across six men and has pleaded not guilty to all.
