Riyadh airport attack hits terminal a day after 12 were killed

Saturday's missile attack was the deadliest in a Gulf Arab nation since the Iran war began.

The Saudi-led coalition said a projectile hit a passenger terminal. The terminal is at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

A missile hit the same terminal on Saturday. It killed 12 people.

The attack on Saturday also wounded another 300 people. Some of them were critically injured.

India's embassy said one of its citizens died on Sunday. The citizen died of injuries from Saturday's attack.

That would bring the death toll to 13. Saudi authorities said the dead included four Saudi citizens.

The dead also included people from several other countries. The Houthis claimed responsibility for the earlier attacks and others.

The Houthis are Iran-backed rebels in Yemen. The rebels warned airlines and travellers.

They told them not to use Saudi airports or airspace. The airport was still closed on Sunday.
