Powderfinger reunion tour: 18 shows across Australia, starting in Brisbane
The 18-show tour runs from September next year through October and visits six Australian cities.
Powderfinger have confirmed dates for an 18-show national tour, just days after announcing their reunion. The reunion comes 16 years after the band disbanded.
The tour kicks off in Brisbane, the band's hometown, on 3 September. Shows then run through Cairns, Perth, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne, ending in Melbourne on 30 October.
Guitarist and vocalist Bernie Fanning said the band would play shows around Australia from September next year. Days before the news, signs in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney gave fans clues.
The band's last performance was an impromptu reunion at Splendour In The Grass in 2017.
