Three escape Canberra house fire with minor injuries
Three residents escaped a house fire in Macgregor early Monday with only minor injuries after flames ignited in the subfloor.
ACT Emergency Services responded to a fire at Archdall Street just before 5am on September 14. Three Fire and Rescue pumpers and an aerial appliance attended the blaze, which started in the subfloor of the building.
All three residents escaped safely and were treated for minor injuries by ACT Ambulance paramedics. The fire was still burning as of 7am, with crews expected to remain on scene for several hours.
