NRLW champions Millie Elliott and Corban Baxter announced they will retire from professional rugby league at season's end.
Sydney Roosters NRLW players Millie Elliott and Corban Baxter announced their retirements at the end of 2026. Corban Baxter captained the Roosters to their first NRLW premiership after six seasons with the club.
Baxter represented New South Wales, the Australian Jillaroos and the Māori All Stars. Millie Elliott joined the Roosters in 2023.
She had won three premierships elsewhere before that. She won a fourth title in 2024.
Elliott and Baxter both played for their state and country. Baxter became visibly emotional when discussing her family's support.
She talked especially about her husband Matt and two sons. They had been her rock throughout her career.
