Death of Australian family under investigation in Bali
A 56-year-old man and his two children were found dead in a Kuta bungalow on Sunday morning.
Indonesian police are investigating the deaths of Damien John Shaw, 56, his six-year-old son and four-year-old daughter, discovered in their home on Sunday. Police say Shaw's wife, who was in Jakarta, heard her child cry during a phone call, then could not reach her husband.
Shaw's wife alerted neighbours, who forced the door open and found all three inside. The three have been taken to a hospital in Denpasar, where police may conduct autopsies to confirm the cause of death.
Police say the deaths are suspected to be a murder-suicide but are still investigating. WA Premier Roger Cook said the state's heart goes out to everyone involved.
