Man shot in Perth suburb as police lock down Hamilton Hill
A man was shot at a house in Owen Place, Hamilton Hill, before 4:35am on Sunday with serious injuries.
Police locked down areas around the Perth suburb of Hamilton Hill on Sunday morning after a man was shot at a house on Owen Place. The victim was taken to hospital and sustained serious injuries.
Officers searched the area for two men said to be dressed in all black. A large police contingent patrolled nearby streets including Tuart Trail and Karda Way.
Residents were told to lock doors and windows and stay indoors. Police asked people to call triple zero if they spotted the two men or any suspicious activity.
