Kirk family files claim against Utah officials over security failures at shooting
Kirk's family filed a legal notice against Utah Valley University and state officials. They say security gaps led to his 2025 death.

A gunman later shot Kirk from a roof. Tyler Robinson, 23, is accused of the shooting.
He is due in court next month to hear when his trial will be held. He denies the charges.
