A red convertible BMW owned by one family for generations caught fire on a residential street in Perth.
A red convertible BMW caught fire on Northwood Street in West Leederville on Saturday around 6.15pm, with flames spreading to a nearby tree as bystanders watched. The vehicle had been owned through a family for generations.
Six firefighting crews rushed to the scene with sirens blaring and extinguished the blaze by 6.50pm. Emergency calls flooded in as the fire took hold.
No injuries were reported.
