Australian arrested in Bali with cannabis faces up to 12 years in prison

Australian man Arron Robert Brokenshire was arrested in Denpasar, Bali, on August 10. Police received a tip that a foreign man was distributing drugs.
Police searched his apartment. Police found 37 small packets of cannabis weighing 36.64 grams total.
They also found two packets of tobacco suspected of containing narcotics weighing 21.30 grams. A bong and electronic scale were seized.
Brokenshire is 36 and from Mona Vale on Sydney's Northern Beaches. He allegedly told investigators he bought the cannabis for about $160 at Kuta Beach.
Police said he would be charged with alleged possession and distribution of cannabis and tobacco suspected of containing synthetic narcotics. If convicted, he faces up to 12 years in prison.
