Three charged after week-long rural theft probe in NSW
A 20-year-old woman, 19-year-old man and 32-year-old man were charged following a property theft near Parkes.
Central West police arrested three people after investigating a break-in and vehicle theft on a rural property near Parkes. The property was broken into between 5pm on August 26 and 5.40am on August 27, 2026, and a white utility vehicle was stolen.
Police found the vehicle in bushland near Condobolan the same day. When officers entered a house during the investigation, one person fled on foot but was captured after a short pursuit.
Police seized small amounts of methylamphetamine and cannabis from the 32-year-old man. A search warrant recovered more cannabis and electronic devices from the property.
All three were refused bail and face court hearings in September and October.
