Two deaths in separate Adelaide crashes raise SA road toll to 79
A 41-year-old motorbike rider and a 60-year-old pedestrian died in two separate crashes in Adelaide's southern suburbs on Saturday.
South Australia's road toll climbed to 79 after two fatal crashes in the space of a few hours on Saturday. A 41-year-old motorbike rider from Munno Para died after a crash in Coromandel Valley just before 4pm.
Later that evening, a 60-year-old pedestrian from Hackham was struck by a car in a separate incident; the driver left the scene and later reported to Christies Beach Police Station. Police are investigating both crashes.
The state's toll of 79 so far this year is tracking below the 87 deaths recorded across all of 2025 and the 89 in 2024.
