Australia's youngest professional aerobatic pilot is going back to Tocumwal Aerodrome this week to defend his title. Jett Bennet, 20, will compete in the Victorian State Aerobatic Championships.
They run from September 23 to 27. He learned to fly as a child with his father, Paul Bennet, Australia's top aerobatic pilot.
Jett flew solo at age 15. He started competing in aerobatics a year later.
In competition aerobatics, pilots perform set routines. A panel judges them on precision and accuracy.
Every loop, roll and maneuver gets a score. Bennet now flies the Wolf Pitts 360 for his job.
