Man charged with 26 offences after 30km Perth police chase
Koondoola man Quan Jordan Vo, 33, charged after driving stolen car through oncoming traffic across Perth metro.
Police spotted the Subaru being driven erratically on the Great Eastern Highway at Midland about 10.10am on Thursday. The driver sped away when officers activated sirens.
Quan Jordan Vo drove at high speed through multiple suburbs, ran red lights and repeatedly drove on the wrong side of the road. The car crashed into two civilian vehicles and an unmarked police car, but Vo did not stop.
Police say no serious injuries were reported. A helicopter followed the car to Kingsley where the occupants abandoned it and fled on foot.
Police found Vo nearby and arrested him. He was charged with 26 offences including reckless driving to evade police, endangering life, drug and weapon possession, vehicle theft, and breach of bail.
