Company linked to One Nation built $56,706 shed on Ashby's land
A company co-owned by Ashby, Hanson and One Nation's treasurer built a shed on his Queensland property.
James Ashby, Pauline Hanson's national director, has enjoyed significant benefits from his role at One Nation. A company linked to the party, Small Batch Brewing, built a $56,706 shed on his central Queensland property.
Ashby also drives a new Ford Ranger gifted to One Nation by farming executive Adam Giles. Hanson said the vehicle would help with campaign efforts.
Ashby is the main pilot of a $2 million Cirrus plane that mining billionaire Gina Rinehart donated to the party. In a statement, Ashby said both are used for party purposes, not personal benefit.
The brewing company holds no liquor licence despite being described as a craft-brewing venture.
