Auric Mining bought processing equipment worth $15 to $20 million new for just $1.2 million from a closed NSW mine.
Auric Mining snapped up a complete processing plant from a closed New South Wales mine for just $1.2 million. The company says the equipment would have cost $15 to $20 million new, making it one of the biggest bargains in the current mining cycle.
The package includes a three-stage crushing circuit, conveyors, bins, and a milling structure with all spare parts and consumables. The gear will be dismantled this quarter and trucked to Auric's Burbanks site near Coolgardie, Western Australia, arriving in early 2027.
Auric is a profitable, cash-generating producer, recently posting $28 million net profit before tax for the half-year to June. The cash flow from its Munda gold mine is being funnelled into a broader hub-and-spoke strategy.
