Angus Crichton cleared for Roosters' NRL semi-final comeback

Angus Crichton is cleared to play in Saturday's semi-final after a four-month injury break.

Roosters coach Trent Robinson has cleared back-rower Angus Crichton to play in Saturday's semi-final against Cronulla. Crichton has been out since round 15.

Crichton will start on the bench but is ready to play. Robinson said Crichton has no problems this week, but he wasn't ready last week.

Halfback Sam Walker is getting better and may play next week if the Roosters advance. Sharks playmaker Braydon Trindall has been cleared despite a shoulder injury he's been managing.

Coach Craig Fitzgibbon said the shoulder is stable and strong.
