Man airlifted after crash on Bucketts Way near Booral
A man in his 60s was airlifted after a crash involving a ute, a horse float, and at least one motorbike.
Emergency services rushed to Bucketts Way at Booral on Sunday morning at about 10:20am. A man aged in his 60s was treated for leg injuries and was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital by Westpac rescue helicopter.
The crash forced closure of both directions of the road. The closure ran from Gunns Gully Road to Lemongrove Road for several hours.
Ten ambulances and the rescue helicopter attended the scene. The rural fire brigade asked motorists to turn around and respect emergency volunteers.
