A Warrnambool man repeatedly messaged a woman he had just met. James Lyons, 43, met her at McDonald's, exchanged numbers, then sent 75 voice and text messages in three days.
The woman asked him to stop but he kept sending them. Lyons has long struggled with mental health and reading people's signals.
He has spent two months in the Court Integrated Services Program. Sentencing has been put off until November 2.
