Dalaroo maps rare earth zones in Greenland project
Dalaroo Metals has mapped fault patterns and rock types. These control where rare earths concentrate at its Blue Lagoon project.
Australian junior miner Dalaroo Metals has completed detailed geological mapping. The work covered its Blue Lagoon rare earth project in southern Greenland.
The survey collected 354 structural measurements. The survey identified fault sets and rock formations that channel mineral-rich fluids into basins where rare earths build up.
The company believes weathered rock at the complex's centre is the main source. Faults act as natural pipelines.
The Blue Lagoon project now has a much stronger geological framework. This will guide future drilling and exploration work.
