Driver caught at 182km/h with blood-alcohol more than three times the legal limit
A man was pulled over doing 182 in an 80 zone with blood-alcohol more than three times the legal limit.
Northern Territory Police stopped the driver on Elrundie Avenue in Moulden near Darwin shortly after 8pm on Saturday. The driver was speeding at 182km/h in an 80km/h zone.
At Palmerston police station, he tested at 0.153 blood-alcohol, more than three times the legal limit for unrestricted drivers. The driver also tested positive for two prohibited drugs.
Police charged him with dangerous speed, high-range drink-driving, and drug-driving. He was bailed to face Darwin Local Court on October 20.
