Forrestania Resources releases studies for four WA gold mines

Forrestania Resources released studies for four gold projects in Western Australia. The company also joined a major junior miners fund.

Forrestania Resources released prefeasibility studies for four gold projects in Western Australia: Edna May, British Hill, Tycho and Johnson Range. Forrestania Resources also released initial ore reserves for three of them.

The Edna May project is forecast to generate $728.7 million in pre-tax free cash flow at a gold price of $5,500 per ounce. Edna May's maiden ore reserve is 12.6 million tonnes containing 402,800 ounces of gold.

British Hill's prefeasibility study estimates $104.8 million in free cash flow from a two-year operation starting January 2027. Forrestania was just added to the VanEck Junior Gold Miners exchange traded fund, a major investment option for junior mining stocks.

The company's strategy is to process ore from multiple smaller deposits. It uses two existing plants at Westonia and Lake Johnston.

This avoids building new mills for each mine.

AustraliaThese projects could create jobs in regional Western Australia and increase Australia's domestic gold production amid global demand.
