Man dragged 50m by moving train but escapes without injury
A man fell between a train and platform in India, was dragged about 50 metres, but escaped unharmed.
A passenger tried to board the Sabarmati Express at Agra Cantt Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh, India on September 8 at 9:35pm. The passenger lost his footing and fell into the narrow gap between the carriage and the platform.
The train continued moving, dragging him about 50 metres as he fought to stay away from the tracks. Other travellers sprinted alongside and tried to reach him.
Members of the Government Railway Police's Quick Response Team raced to the scene and helped pull him to safety. Remarkably, he suffered no injuries.
